Commonsense IP rights
Psychochild says it better than me.
I can't find anything to disagree with. Protecting IP rights should be a high priority with our laws - but now we alternate between ineffectual and draconian. The middle ground - the place occupied by artists, authors, and the working-class joes who pay with their sweat, blood, and tears to bring something that will hopefully profit the world (or at least entertain the world) - is turning into a desolate wasteland in a battlefield between pirates and big business.
It's sad, but it's nothing new.
